Eugene Seah is a colorist based in Singapore. With a strong focus in brand and narrative storytelling, Eugene has colored a wide variety of videos throughout his career in the film industry. Highly technical and meticulous in his focus on narrative significance, Eugene is a versatile artist whose work spans across multiple genres.

His work is highly eclectic, ranging from advertisements with major brands and government institutions (Under Armour, McDonald’s, HSBC, Shiseido, Universal Studios, Singapore Airlines, KFC, Singapore’s Ministry of Health), TV shows (Amazon Prime’s Japanese Bake Off, Food Affair), documentaries (Baby Queen, Netflix’s Andre and the Olive Tree), music videos (Lin Ying’s Good Behaviour, Benjamin Kheng’s Shared Trauma), to award-winning films such as The Sun is Up and I Shall Live (2023), Mum (2023), Chomp It (2023), A Man Trembles (2021), Caifan Haiku (2022), You Will See (2022), and many others.

Eugene most recently worked on Dreaming and Dying (2023), a feature film directed by Nelson Yeo, which won 2 Golden Leopard awards at the Locarno Film Festival. The depth of knowledge that he has in color grading renders him a specialist who enables audiences to appreciate raw storytelling.
